to explain the above picture we must go into the past!
A number of days ago. 15th to be precice. I was carrying a basket of laundry down the stairs and spaced out while going down said stairs, missed the second to last step and promptly met the hardwood floor with my right toe D8>
after flailing around a bit and running around in painshock I permitted my mother to do the detective thing and tell me I had a broken toe. and also let me know I didn't have to go to the doctors for this, because there's not a hell of alot they could do because it didn't break through the skin. and I can still walk fairly good..
(Read: Gregory house limping. bitching. yelling. and drowning vicodin. :D)

though seriously not taking anything for it. just have to wait until it heals. hope there's no infection. And it's not hurting as much as it did the day I broke it.

on the subject of Gracie. Our new cat.
around 10:30 PM here my mother got a call from our neighbour asking if we wanted a cat. around this time my mother was probably on her best of second or third glass of homemade wine so I wasn't sure how to take her asking "heeey~ what do you think of a new cat?" but in a matter of minutes my brother went over to our neighbour's and brought back a cat tree. and then there was our neigbour with this-
(Very bad picture I apologize. but this was taken a day after XD
she wouldn't stop moving)

this confused pudgy puffball of a cat. neutered and declawed. and I guess it turned out to be time to invite another kitty to our home. Spike of course was less than impressed. though it reminded me of how roles had reveresed.

back when I was a wee little rugrat we had two cats. Salty and Pepper. they were my parents cats. and once Pepper passed away (Diabeties) an old friend of the family had a cat with kittens that needed a good home. which is where me and my brother picked out Spike and Boots. and Salty was the queen of the house forcing Spike and Boots to hide downstairs until she got used to them.

even though Gracie is a big cat Spike and her are sort of like fire and oil.
Spike's the Senior cat now and Gracie is hideing downstairs. but. funny enough, when Spike was a little kitten years ago, she clawed up the posts where Gracie is now. (Shown in the pictures) and I can still see those claw marks as fresh as the day they were made. man kittens are little tykes! D8<

but the cincher to this story. and what makes me want to punch my neighbour's husband. is the reason she had to let go of Gracie and not be able to have the cat in her home anymore. is just because her husband said "No more cats." and was going to dump Gracie on the side of the road. >>8C!!

This cute. little. puffy. happy kitty. on the side of the road >>8C!!!
this man built. the greatest cat scratch tree ever which is sitting in our home right now. only to say a couple of days ago "No more cats"? D< !
from what his wife told us he's not alergic. maybe just cause Gracie likes alot of attention? I go downstairs and she's always trying to headbutt and run into me and around me and moving everywhere. but yes again I digress it seems Gracie does not agree with the senior cat of the house. every time she comes up the stairs she hisses at Spike to death. especially if Spike's sitting at the stairs. they haven't gotten into a fight yet but i'm keeping a close eye on both of them.

as for what else I've been doing, aside from making newcat comfortable and learning that toes were meant to be broken. so says Ballerinas. on the subject of Ballet, I had been re-reading "As the waltz was ending"

Description of the book: Emmy Macalik was a young ballet student in Vienna when the city was full of flowers, tree-shaded parks, and coffee houses that served rich mocha topped with whipped cream and powdered sugar. When the optimistic student heard the applause that followed her first real performance, her future seemed clear before her. What Emmy did not see was the devastating effects World War II would have on Austria, her family, and herself.

just another one of those books I can't put down until I've read it 50 times in one month o_o I never get bored of it.

on another side I've been furiously trying to get monthly projects done but these things take alot of time effort back and forth communication, still learning far too much on digital art and 3D modeling. brain's gonna splode D8>

it just feels like a giant door has opened up to me.
and that door is- "You don't have to draw everything. you can subsitute 3D for architecture and placement if you want." :O!
it's like too much freedom and not enough all at once and i'm running in circles.

Eeeeek! Injuries are no fun!! A broken toe is SUCH a bummer...don't you hate it when seemingly useless "appendages" are disabled and you don't realize what an inconvenience it is till you injure them?! Leg injuries are the worst :< TAKE CARE!!!!

Gracie kawaaaaii!! I love the fact she's pudgy and puffy!! Hehe the little rift b/w her and Spike is actually kind of funny, but I hope they don't get into any serious fights!!

Wow, sounds like a good book o: Sounds a bit sad, actually! But I love ballet, maybe I should look into it too!

Frostie! Go take on any doors you want! Go girl go!!! \(^o^)/
