I forgot how fun Voice chat can be.
believe I mentioned in a few old posts I used to speak on Skype while RPing with a few friends back in 06/07. then kinda widdled out of it for a couple of years.
Getting voice to work on SL and chatting on Skype again has been a real treat to me.
(Yes even with Darkan's snoreing. And the other shananagans)
so thank you everyone who can stand my unbarabley un-canadian gremlin voice and me flicking my on off button like my life depended on it. ^^;
Also Massive Black/Concept Art Dot Org had a labor day sale which Frostie is so guilty of abuseing. D8
I know these videos goes towards my arts education, but man these are so good I can't help but feel guilty for getting them at such a low price. usually they're $15-$20 US though during the sale each video was $9.95 US.
I have so many of these videos now and I love them to bits. a solid hour two hours. some of these videos come with Photoshop brushes. PSD files (Photoshop files that lets me mess with the layers) pictures of the process. sometimes unedited film for extra appeal and of course the artists commentary and guides.
I've been kinda wary of getting Carl Dobsky's perspective videos, just because i'm bad at numbers and size ratios but I think in the long run it'll help as I break it down in my brain <3
Alright i'll stop foaming now and just throw some trailers up here of the videos I got :3

Oh my gosh that's so funny Frostie, just earlier today my mind was on the topic of voice chat (probably due to all the Vent and SL Voice sessions I've had lately) and I thought about the first time you told me about Skype, and how you used it with your Hidden Grass buddies. I hadn't even heard of Skype before then. What a coincidence you blogged about it!!
