I never ever followed rateings, even when I was a kid myself, Today is quiz day! where Frostie does alot of funny quiz's and posts them here because she finally figured out why she could not post HTML, *points at the HTML tab at the top and then facepalms for not realizeing it sooner*

I shall post the Quiz things at the bottom, for now I'll chat about what i've been doing in SL,
which hasn't been much, me and Kiba and Ed went around being pirates, ((Will post pictures later since their still in SL XD)) chatted with Yuge Kyoto,

and working on my Kyoto character, with megatons of changes made to it going back and forth with Yuge, so I've meshed my inventor character and this character together, in which will be a Oiran which is basically- I could be wrong on this, high class prostitutes who masquerade around as Geisha. to put her history into a short version which I haven't written out completely, but I present a Beta version for the readers, this is all the fruit of my studying put on a platter. =3

Her name is Izuru Korin ((Surname first of course))
Born illegitimately to a foolish Geisha and a Buisnessman,
Korin's adventure starts with the murder of her mother as they fled to a fishing village,
a Fishermans family takes care of Korin for five years then casts her as cursed for so many
diseased and rotting fish in the sea, a very bad catch, and the plague of sick around the village,
They sent her to one of the Okiya's in Kyoto so they could eat and be paid,
Korin worked hard as a Maid, and was sent to a school for Geisha,
Shining prominant as a beautiful talented girl, she attracted a wise older sister to help her become a aprentice gaining the Geisha name of "Okichi", since her Okiya's regen Geisha already had an aprentice and saw better opertunity to rival her own against Korin, all this on the road to becomeing a prominant Geisha,

at least.....it would have if the Okiya mother was quite a bit smarter then she was.
at the age of 18 a bidding war was put against Korin's Mizuage, it was sold for nearly enough to repay her debts, which only a few more months work would help in finalizeing them,
everyone in the Okiya was overjoyed. except for the Regen Geisha and her aprentice,
but that was to be expected,

"Of course not a sen will go towards the older sister, or Okichi herself."
both of the women looked at the Okiya mother strangely
"For she, like her bruteish mother, will be adopted as the daughter of this Okiya."
Okichi's eyes widened as the Mother took a deep inhale of her pipe looking with red rimmed eyes at her soon to be /daughter/ "What? you didn't know that before you were born your mother was supposed to be Daughter of this Okiya? why do you think I bought you so long ago, those shaped eyes that pouty mouth, I knew you were exactly her daughter."

she gave a hoarse laugh "That fool, if she'd given you up to that young buisnessman she would have been worth something. I wasn't surprised when the buisnessman's grunts came back with a chunk of her hair saying she was dead..." she paid no attention to Okichi's eyes which were burning, though her sister saw them at full force, the Mother played with her abacus, the fire in Okichi's eyes spoke loudly 'I lust for revenge...'

the following days after the Mizuage party at the night when she lay with the man who had bought her Mizuage, after his 'eel' had marked her 'cave' he panted "Just....like your mother....he was right, so...good..." Okichi's eyes widened looking scarcely at the man "Who...?"

she spoke so faintly and quietly her voice was overcome by his panting "W...Water...."

She sat up, physically drained but the gears in her brain were turning, this man knew her father,

that was the only way...her lust got the better of her, she took a bottle of clear liquid shoe varnish and added it to a glass of freshly poured water, the shoe varnish is said to be deadly to ingest, so she knelt back down at the bedside and handed the glass to the man who had deflowered her, he drank the entire glass then laid back down shutting his eyes, going back to sleep dropping the glass beside him,

when she was satisfied seeing his breatheing had stopped and she could feel no pulse, she rose not even bothering to wear a robe as she checked his wallet, finding a buisness card for one of the most popular fan building company, where many merchants got their fans from to sell at local little shops. and Geisha bought from these little shops to preform their dances. Korin looked over her shoulder at herself in the buff, she did not see the little girl who worked her life into becoming a Geisha, she saw a woman with a lustful perpose, a seductive glare that would only give a man the intent that she was only interested in pleaseing him..when her real intentions were to destroy him. her eyes rolled over his wallet once more, money, cards, she saw one that was signed by a lovely Geisha, who had long now been casted out to the Miyagawa-cho district,

that was when Okichi- no...

that is when Korin made up her mind, she would not be tied down like a dog,

she would force her way by any means necessary...

As a glisen of sweat rolled down her bosom she smiled taking a deep breath....

then making the most horrified shriek possible as she threw herself down next to the man,

putting on a beautiful preformance of sorrow for the man who had bought her Mizuage,

throughout the following weeks after his death purifying their own Okiya,

Okichi was called to the Mothers room "Sooner or later you will have to take a Danna..."

as the old woman talked on and on about 'oh I think so-and-so has much cash to spare and would be able to take on another Mistress or this-man-or-that would be good because his buisness could offer the Okiya much wealth,

"No."

for once, the Okiya mother looked straight up seeing, not Okichi, but Korin with fire blazeing in her eyes, the woman chewed on her pipe a little before blowing out a ring of smoke then putting down her pipe "So you are pregnant no? going to run away like your mother, your mizuage patrons death was not natural. not in any way..."

Korin looked up, not with fire, but empty apathy, doing what most Geisha would never do,

"I am not pregnant...Okaa-san...." she said as sweetly as she could while still sounding like a air of threat "I am not going to run...I am going to walk, out of this Okiya. and not come back. are we clear?" to Korin's disgust, Mother gave a hoarse laugh "Such comedy....as I was say-"

Korin stood up and turned around "So disrespectful to your mother-"

"You are not my mother. my mother died honorabley to save my life....you..."

she said looking over her shoulder, her beautiful black hair fluttering on the air "...Are an old hag." she said before slamming the screen door shut leaveing the Okiya mother stunned, on the realization that she should have never spoken of Korin's birth-mother.

Korin packed her things knowing if she was going to find the man who did her mother in, she would have to go where he hung out most frequently...or at least from the rumors fluttering around...that is where most underclassed buisnessmen hung their suits when they did not wish for simple conversation. as she heard the screen door behind her swing open, the Okiya mother was frantic, and seemed to not want her to leave, "You owe too much to this Okiya to just leave!"

"If I leave, then you do not have to worry about me paying back my debts, I will not be here therefore not a wart on your back or a thorn in your side like the many that are already there."

"You will never work as a Geisha again!"

"I never intended to."

the Okiya mother clamped a hand over her mouth, she was more terrified trying to add up the numbers of how much her leaveing would put a dent in the Okiya funds, she did not even notice the money that Korin took from her room to cover her own expences while she was going around Kyoto trying to find that one buisness-man....the one that formed her destiny like clay,

she destroyed the pot and all that was left was the pottery wheel which she stood on.

As she left, she looked back over her shoulder, the Okiya was her life, but no longer...

like a crack along the wall that was her future, it could only get worse until it broke the weather beaten wall and showed her future, she walked out the front door, taking a few Kimono's from the storehouse, but not forgetting to drop a lit match behind her as she left, no one thought to hunt her down after that, the Police could not find Korin and gave up searching after a few months.

.....though a rumor, a light feather floats around Kyoto, of a cursed Oiran in the Miyagawa-cho district, once every few customers, one of them dies, always in a suit. though the suspicion and rumor only increased her popularity and customers....even if most of the rumor, was no fiction,

the investigators and police...and whatever hides in the shadows of daylight watch her like a hawk...she is a suspicious one....but they have nothing on her that she isn't like any other Oiran in all of Kyoto, with a gaze that makes young and old men blush and a seductive pout that makes middle aged men question their loyalty to their wives.
