That video was from episode 7 of a series i'm semi-obsessed with called;
Romeo X Juliet,
Now, I never had a chance to find out what the hell the play of Romeo and Juliet was was all about besides the scene nearly everyone knows about where they are on the balcony and the "Where art thou"'s start, only because the education system in my area sucked when I was young and it still sucks now as i've previously said.
but this is a great Anime series for those who easily gush over fantasy old time romance titles like Frostie does. XD
ah...love that cannot be, that's just a-
.....there is a logic error in that scene!
the part where her wig falls off, it sort of goes up, and up up and away, to never be seen again, unless a giant gush of non existant wind blew it far far away I don't understand not seeing it fall behind her or over the ledge as they embrace,
but if anime made sense and obeyed the laws of physics and logic then it wouldn't be anime. onto the other topics of today.
I WOKE UP EARLY WITHOUT STAYING UP ALL NIGHT FOR ONCE. Hurrah.
but yesterday I was sick, or rather health threateningly sleep deprived so I slept the day away and scared the shit out of my mother, at first she was all
"Okay sleep for a bit longer then i'll come wake you up."
then she came into my room 12 hours carrying a cup of juice and was horribley pale,
I asked her if they announced sleep deprivation as the number one killer and then we both sat up laughing as I was feeling much better after getting at least 12 hours of sleep, no matter if when I woke up it was 7 PM,
I've learnt two things;
#1: A body does need rest, no matter how much work I have to finish,
#2: No matter how many times I realize this, I doubt it will ever change my sleep deprived work-o-holic ways until one day my loved ones strap me down to a chair and force me to watch "The horrors of sleep deprivation" then a Zombie movie.
so yeah, i'm trying to get more sleep into my daily diet,
but also i'm going to be doing something productive and delightful,
at least better then stressy, which is a sprite comic.
which...may actually enduce more stress, but I sincerely like modifying sprites better then spending 150+ hours trying to reset my brain after figureing out that I suck at drawing original comics and should stick to basic drawing and build from there.
but what are sprite comics?
A comic made by using character images (known as "sprites") from video games, usually 8-bit systems like Nintendo. The images are taken from screenshots of the games, then copied, pasted, and edited using a graphics editor

But, what sprite universe am I going to base this off of? there are hundreds and hundreds to choose from and many various sprites to look over which will be time consumeing, but I've already chosen so long ago, I will be baseing this off of the Final Fantasy 6 universe, because I can remember in my youth being captivated by the Playstation version, then again years later on a super nintendo emulator system program, which let you run old Super nintendo games on your computer.
so far I think i'll have Five Original characters and let the rest be as normal.
I've looked over a bit of the sprite resource page, it's a bitch to navigate though, loading times are horrific. but this site is friggin awesome if you want to make a sprite comic, which is now my obsession and love.

but yes, I will be mostly useing Final Fantasy Six's sprites and backgrounds as the forsetting for it, but it wont be completely to that timeline, I'm sure i'll be able to incorperate some other things into it, i'll share a bit into my mind of a storyline I have going.

and there are those who wish to protect life at all cost,
those are the lords right hands, the Steel Souls.
The lord of what you ask?
the land we all walk upon, Lord Fiamata, of the world of Metrocalis.
long ago the planet had a different name, a name of beauty, and elegance.
but it was forgotten, like many of the dead and dying that hide in the alleyways.
though rumor lay that Fiamata's word and reach did not shadow over one serene village near a lake, a prosperous fishing village,
Everyone was happy, since the village was in it's youth there was no two like a certian boy and girl, mischeivious they were, tipping the cows and scareing the chickens, then as they grew into early teenhood the boy turned theif, but after being caught so many times he was sent astraight and became helpful, loading crates onto the nearby boat, the girl soon picked up the habbit of tending to flowers that grew outside the village.
one day the girl came back and colapsed, her wounds were great. the boy looked horrified at his childhood friend in such a state, she pulled through to his relief, when he told her that he had been working out she asked if he could defeat monsters that roamed outside the village itself, he pumped his muscles and did a little show, the girl giggled and clapped her hands, she asked if he would acompany her when she went to go see the flowers, and that he did, he figured out that she had gotten hurt because she couldn't defend herself...
though there were no monsters around the area where she explained she had gotten attacked at, she tended the flowers on the high mountian and then as they were heading back to the village...they found out why there had been no monsters.
the village was set abalaze with corpses lineing the streets, a huge pile of monster bodys at the center, flameing, adding to the distruction, but in the midst of that...armored warriors were putting up large flags everywhere that had a steel sword, and a ghostly image over it. the girl clung to the boy, she was terrified, the boy and girl fled to the docks to find a dark cloaked red haired man getting the ship ready for depature, the boy begged for the mysterious red haired man to take them with him wherever, he denied, the boy turned around seeing the silver warriors aproaching then drew his sword and pointed it at the red haired man and shouted
"Take her then! make sure she is safe or I will kill you!"
then he pushed the girl onto the boat as it was setting sail,
the girl screamed his name, as the group of warriors charged the boy and sliced him to a fataly wounded state, the girl sobbed into her hands as they grew farther and farther away from the home she once knew, the red haired man spoke coldly to her "Dry your tears and solidify your emotions, where I am taking you they will beat you if you cry. and kill you if you scream. silence and a nod is what will get you far."
She looked up at him trembling in fear "Why..?"
"That boy had a look I had once when my heart booned at the name of a woman, those /knights/ are called the Steel Souls, and your boyfriend is most likely going to be turned into one of them because no one in that village was a fighter except for him."
the girl had no words...thinking of her long-time friend disapearing into the crowd wearing a suit of silver steel and mercilessly killing...she couldn't think of it..
"Become an Assasin, and you might be able to save him before it's too late...what is your name?"
"Esune."
"If your lucky enough to survive i'll tell you my name."
Esune held her knee's to her chest her bottom lip trembling, her world was torn apart...the simple village life she knew was no more, and now she was in leagues with one of the most malicious assasination groups on the face of Metrocalis.
and all she could hope to do was drift to a place where she and her childhood friend,
were safe to live again.
Now that's just the uber-beta but it's a possibility I may use fragments of this into the story depending on how stressful it is, and Yeeesh this is the Esune we all know and love, that is one of the Five characters in the story aside from the NPC's.
and WHO the hell is this mystery man? and the childhood friend? take potshot guesses and, there are still two other characters that have yet to be spoken, which I will keep everyone guessing until I finish their custom sprites. =D!
I'll give you guys a hint before I go off to help my parents figure out their new washing machine; their SL representitives are- a Leezzuured, and Zombie killer Aeris/Aerith.
